Nokia invests 391 million dollars in Germany

Finnish telecom giant Nokia plans to invest 391 million dollars (360 million euros) in Germany. The investment will be made in software, hardware and chip design in Ulm and Nuremberg in the country. News Reuters.

Nokia said in a statement that the four-year project will be funded by Nokia as well as the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection and two German states.

The project will focus on the development of high-performance system-on-chip based on software, hardware and digital twin. These will be used in next-generation telecom systems radio and optical products based on 5G Advanced and 6G standards.
